Guiseppe Olmo was a famous cyclist who held the speed record in 1935 and won the Giro (Tour d' Italie) in 1936 and the Milan San Remo classic in 1938. At the end of his racing career, he decided to set up his own bicycle manufacturing plant, the brand, which was a great success all over the world and now enjoys an international reputation.
