GT Bicycles was founded in 1972 in California by Gary Turner, a welder with a passion for BMX. He built his first chrome-moly frame for his son, quickly impressing the local scene. The brand became a benchmark in the BMX world thanks to its solid, innovative frames. GT went on to establish itself in mountain biking and extreme sports, making its mark on the history of freestyle bikes.
