Gipiemme is an Italian brand founded in 1964 in Milan, initially as a mechanical workshop. It soon specialised in the manufacture of bicycle components, producing complete groupsets such as the famous Cronosprint, Bagarre, Alto and Azzurro series. A pioneer, in 1984 it introduced the first all-carbon fibre wheel, followed by lenticular models for track and time trials.
